The Cincinnati Bengals can be called team turmoil. Very little has gone right for this squad in recent seasons. Home to players who have had many off-field problems with police, the Bengals have been a team that has consistently underperformed. Remarkably, the name Ocho Cinco will be on the back of Chads uniform this upcoming season. Why Ocho Cinco? Thats the number of his uniform jersey, 85.

Now Chad Johnson, or Chad Ocho Cinco, may be a little strange, but hes still a very good football player , when he decides to play hard. And that has been another problem facing team management in recent years. Their players dont always perform up to their skill level. Fortunately, the negative culture surrounding this team began to change somewhat in the 2008-2009 Season.

Last year, the Bengals were a losing team , they lost a lot of games. But, they were competitive. They played hard and were in most games, had a chance to win many of them, until late.

Clearly, that was a good sign for this team. It was developing a will to win and a fighting spirit. It had players who were enthusiastic , even for a losing team.

And, during this off-season, the team had a great college draft. Most experts agree that The Cincinnati Bengals addressed many needs with their draft picks and that some of those new players will be able to step right on the field and start helping right away, from game one of the new season.

Thats good news for the Bengals and for their fans. And it may be even better news for people who like to wager on games. With a losing record from last season still fresh on everyones mind, The Cincinnati Bengals are likely to be underdogs in every game they play.
